Education in VR

VR creates the opportunity to augment traditional classes with class immersion in the actual environment.   There is also the chance to engage youth 1-on-1 with behavioural modeling in an environment devoid of peer pressure

Location Immersion

VR lets students immerse themselves in locations and situations that they could never normally travel to.  It creates an empathy with worlds completely different to their own, creating personal memories of this journey along the way.

VR can model emotional maturity and emotionally intelligent interactions between students; it can tackle difficult or awkward topics like consent and navigating relationships.  This can be a scaffolded experience that begins in early grades and progresses to more advanced and mature VR experiences as they age.

Empathy Training

VR creates the opportunity to show students a range of personal realities from others less fortunate.  Both first person and third person views are possible - shown in these formative years, there is a real chance that these perspectives will stay with students into later life.  It is the classic exemplar of  'show, rather than tell'.
