Sales Demonstrations

Virtual Reality demonstrations can be very impactful but its important to create a comfortable experience for the viewer - this is what they will remember, and will associate your company and product with the emotion created.  There is little point going to all the trouble of creating a fantastic high quality VR experience, only to compromise the final delivery.

Sit them down.

We would always recommend a client is sitting down for the viewing.  Make sure they have enough room to swivel around if the content is 360 degrees.  With 180 degrees, this is much less important, there is basically one dominant viewing angle, which is why we prefer 180 degrees for most situations.  Ideally, you will be casting to a flat screen during the experience, so that you can be aware of what the viewer is taking notice of, and where they are in the experience.

Assist the adjustment

We find it best to assume that someone has no experience with VR, unless they tell you otherwise.  As the demonstrator, you should place the headset on their head, and adjust fit and  comfort.  Be sure they are definitely seeing a focussed image  and volume is set correctly before playing the experience.  If controllers are used, make sure they know exactly what to press, and when. This detailed attention communicates care for the customer and is an additional opportunity to build rapport.

Exhibition Space

VR is an ideal exhibition tool but its important to be design the demonstration space for a effortless, pleasurable experience that a customer will connect to your brand and product.  We've prepared a guide to Exhibitor VR to make it simple.

In addition to producing the VR experience, we can help you design your activation and on-board sales staff who will be helping customers in and out of the headset.
